Our Story

Shaded was created by Amelia - A professional portrait artist. Amelia would often draw her works for people and hear the same phrase “I wish I could draw like that”. She often felt that with the right help, materials and support this was achievable.

And so Shaded was born. Amelia began creating a method and a style which would be easily used by all abilities. She decided Pointillism would be ideal as it’s simple in its method but offers beautiful, artistic results. After developing her own bespoke instructions and mapping process it was ready!

Fast forward and Shaded has now been nominated for the gift of the year, hitting superb levels of customer satisfaction and allowing anyone to create their own artwork that they can be proud of.

What’s next for Shaded?

Shaded is currently developing new kits and exciting creative opportunities to inspire us all to make our own artwork. We are also developing a new community of artists so art and creativity can bring us together. We’re on a mission to bring out the artist in all of us.
